Arlen Ness, MagnaFlow, and the Milwaukee-Eight Fat Bob

Power Players

Any time I see three names in a row like Arlen Ness, MagnaFlow, and a Harley-Davidson product, I immediately want to follow up with, “walk into a bar.” The voices in my head are just weird like that. What isn’t so weird is the former two teaming up to offer more grunt to the latter. Like this:

The Ness/MagnaFlow alliance started a few years ago when Softails were Softails and Dynas were Dynas. It was the perfect chance for two of the most renowned names in motorcycling and motorsports to create some badass products with looks to match. Then Harley-Davidson had to go and stomp on the aftermarket anthill by unifying the two into one model line, complete with a Milwaukee-Eight V-twin ‘twixt its frame rails instead of ye olde Twin Cam. Arlen Ness Enterprises already had Milwaukee-Eight upgrades in the work for the Touring H-Ds, so they wasted no time putting in work melding their sense of style with MagnaFlow’s performance to give your Softy a boost of power that looks good doing it.
