Red Sun Rising Joins Foreigner at Buffalo Chip

The opening weekend of the “Largest Music Festival in Motorcycling” just added another dynamic chart-topping band, hard rockers Red Sun Rising. The band will open for one of the biggest rock powerhouses on the planet, Foreigner, on the Sturgis Buffalo Chip’s Wolfman Jack Stage on Saturday, Aug. 4.

Red Sun Rising has topped Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart twice with two no. 1 hits, “The Otherside” and “Emotionless,” and the top ten hits “Amnesia” and “Deathwish.” Thanks in part to their augmented lineup, their new album “Thread,” a follow-up to “Polyester Zeal,” bottles up the bands live energy and gives rise to a raw and volatile sound. The band’s gripping three-part harmonies infuse songs like “Stealing Life” with a live energy backed by punishing riffs.
