Indian Racer Floyd Emde Wins Daytona 200 in 1948

PilIndian is among those companies gearing up for Daytona Bike Week in the next couple of weeks and I thought Floyd Emde’s 1948 Daytona win would be good to share. Piloting a new model 648 Indian Scout, Floyd took top honors at the Daytona 200 at the old Road-Beach Course. Floyd won the race in a record time of 2 hours 22 minutes and 56 seconds.
