Sturgis Buffalo Chip Books Keith Urban for 2019 Concert Series

The 2018 Sturgis Rally is still fresh on the world’s mind, but the “Largest Music Festival in Motorcycling®” has already made big plans for 2019. Multiple Grammy Award-winning American Country music icon Keith Urban is bringing his stunning arsenal of no. 1 mega-hits to the Sturgis Buffalo Chip on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2019, smashing open the gates as never before on an inaugural weekend. This is the first of many block-busting artists the Chip will announce for its world-famous Wolfman Jack Stage lineup August 2-10, 2019.

“We wanted to thank everyone who showed up and had the time of their lives at the Buffalo Chip in 2018 and thought there’d be no better way than to drop this huge announcement for 2019 right away,” said Rod Woodruff, Sturgis Buffalo Chip President. “Fans are going to go crazy for Keith Urban, and now they’ll have nearly a year to look forward to the show and make their vacation plans.”

Urban has received four Grammy Awards for Best Male Country Vocal Performance in 2006, 2008, 2010 and 2011. Numerous awards from the Academy of Country Music, CMT and the Country Music Association include Top Make Vocalist, Male Vocalist of the Year, Entertainer of the Year, Vocal Event of the Year, Musical Event of the Year, Performance of the Year and more.

The 38th annual Buffalo Chip Motorcycle and Music Festival will open with a pre-rally party July 29 – Aug. 1, 2019, and the official festival dates run Aug. 2-11, 2019. Concerts and races are free with camping. More information and reservations are available at BuffaloChip.com
